There have been significant changes
implemented to the whole idea of Elite TournAmenT for the R1, B1
release. In the past the whole basis of Elite Tournament had been
without a definite location.
As of this point, all the combat in Elite TournAmenT
will be based instead either on, in or in orbit to the planet Raxxla
(location withheld), secret planet of the Elite.
Areas will now be constructed for an average of 20
players at a time, hopefully more. I am working on making the
system work for more users, however 20 is enough for the moment.
I am also making it more easy with regards game
flow. From now on, you will be able to fly more or less wherever
you want.
As an Elite first, ground based vehicles are being
included for the very first time, they will have both advantages and
disadvantages over space craft. I will also be making dual craft.
Fights will still occur in deep space as well, however this will be in
far orbit of Raxxla. Clan bases will be a major part of the game,
however we can now have land bases, including vehicle only clans.

As a summary, we will now have the following features:
Deep space combat
Upper orbit combat (in the clouds)
Combat over the ground / cities.
Ground based combat.
Inside combat in special skydomes / tunnel warrens /
building complexes.

March 1st, Website update.
March 7th, finalized plans for new level, Raxxla Sky
Dome. This area will be several miles across and suitable for up
to 100 players playing simultaneously. There are further details
on the Development page, near the bottom.
